New Management at the Lake Carroll Clubhouse, Finally Someone Who Knows What They Are Doing!
Things are finally starting to come together, the food is excellant, the staff is becoming better and better, friendlier, more knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is warm and pleasing.

The menu has changed for the better. The hours have been shortened between lunch and dinner.

One small problem is the reservation policy. They do accept reservations. However, They hold the tables. When we went we were told we would have to wait in the bar, as we ahd no reservations. We could see about six empty tables and no one else waiting. We mentioned the empty tables and were told they were for reservations. We waited in the bar area about six minutes when we were seated in those reserved tables.

We surmise that when the owners come up on the weekends from outside the area that they call ahead and make reservations. If they are held up in traffic etc., this causes lost revenue while those tables are vacant. An some diners may go elsewhere rather than wait the 20 or 30 minutes.

Suggestion, if parties are ten minutes or more late, then their table should be released. Tables should only be held reserved no more than 15 minutes before the desired arrival time.

I'm sure that management will correct this situation.
